Those of you who know me know Farscape Season 4 is not my favorite because it oly told us part of the story but did give us Crichton at the beach!

23 February past

September 2002 was a dark time. for Scapers. Another Scaper,Avenging Angel, and I took out two ad in trades.This is my favorite and ran in The Hollywood Reporter(a full page!) on September 17,2002.

For the record I like Stephen Moyer! However I don’t think “Bill” is a SciFi character! “Crichton” played by Ben is a true SciFi hero.

Also messing around I found the  transcript of the Peace Keeper Wars chat at Farscapeworld—the Farscape cast had several chats with the fans that were not the prepackaged variety one sees nowadays.

London's Central School of Speech and Drama where Ben did his post-grad training has alumni's names etched on the steps approaching the theatre(including Lawrence Olivier!)

19 February waaaay back addition

In I think 2001 at the Farscape convention,Ben’s wife Francesca Buller told a story from one of the early rehearsals.She had performed the role in London with Dustin Hoffman as well. Apparently Hoffman wanted some swordplay added to a scene and actors all about  listeing etc and she hears a “No,no” and recognizes the voice. She is thinking here goes our job! But Hoffman listened—I can’t remember if he changed his mind or not!

19 February Action John Battle:Los Angeles

Look close and you will see Action John. They had the helicopter (also used in Blackhawk Down) outside the convention center for photo ops.Action John was the only action figure to take advantage of the opportunity!

19 February a look further back

Like many of you when I “discover” a new actor I want to see their past work. This can be a disappointing experience or a surprising one.I had no disappointments with Ben’s filmography and Nevada was a nice surprise.
