I'm sort of ambivalent about autographs and photos because I love seeing the actors tell stories and they seem to enjoy the fan interaction in an organized and safer setting. I'm surprised that they didn't set up a talk for Ben before the show. On the other hand, they put him with the Stargate folks and captions on pictures I saw labeled him from there and Party of Five. So he seems to have almost slipped through the cracks; which would have been a shame as he is such a terrific presence. Thanks for the correction about this con. I was confused. This wasn't Collectormania but a real CC. There are talks and costume contests etc. There were several interesting talks but people wanted the hands on more---just prefence. Fans who grumble are deluding themselves or selfish. It's a wonder that actors can remember anything in the crowds and pressure of doing so many signatures and 3 second photos. If I remember correctly, Fran told a story years ago at on of the creation farscape cons that Ben set her up on a Date with Christopher E. at he time, I barely recognized the name. That class at drama school is amazing -- graham norton, Clive Owen, Chris eccelston, Ben, and Fran.
