At our table Ben sat down and said they had been so close to project financing Brian Henson and told him to have his agent ready for a call. Then 2 days later no word so he called and Brian said — no they didn’t wire the money and it was back to discussion etc. These things happen frequently but Brian Henson had had a good feeling about this investor.I think Ben touched on this slightly on stage as well.

He announced his other projects first thing on stage—Bad Kids Go To hell,Naught For Hire anyway.The Farscape being close to funding just the week before he announced as he sat down at our breakfast table. You might check out LAScaper’s con report on Ben Browder Portal—she usually does an indepth report!

Thank you for sharing your memories! I’d really love to hear more about the 2010 con though – I haven’t been able to find anything about Ben discussing other projects and Farscape being so close to finding funding…
