Short Ben interview from July 2009 here

28  July  ----

Martin  Firrell , a London based photographer is doing a SciFi heroes series.  Last week he photographed Ben and has released a couple of the photos. Here and here. I can't wait for this book to be released.

18  July ----

A great clip of Ben from the London Film and Comicon  ----  posted on youtube by Bexcalpin

15  July ----
I had a sad message from Ben His father has passed away.He sent me a message and an obituary. He said he wasn't sure how to tell people. I offered to pass the news to the fan community if and when he wanted. Here is the reply:

I would be happy to see the Obituary distributed to any and all.  My Dad's last Doctor, Sue Prill, was a Farscape Fan and a damn fine woman... Her charity is the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol.

To read the obituary

Wellmont Hospice

14  July  ----

I did my best to check out 2 rumors : Ben IS planning on being at Dragon Con  (official site doesn't list him yet) and he IS planning on being at the LA Farscape Con!!

9 May ----

Ben discusses Naught for Hire here.

6 May  ----

Ben to star in and exec produce new web series--click here for details!

For those of us who weren't able to go to Australia to see Ben at The Hub's con can watch the Q and A panels on a dvd !

It appears Ben has been cast in the Tom Welling produced Hellcats. IMDB calls it Election meets Bring It On.  If done right it could be like Glee, if not well we will have to wait and see! At any rate I welcome a chance to see Ben in a non-genre role though John Crichton remains to me one of the best dramatic heroes the small screen has produced.

7  April ----

The guy in charge of the Classic American SciFi track at this year's Dragon Con has never heard of Farscape !! Facebook users go here to let him know what he is missing!

25  March ----

Some fun pictures from Ben's visit to Melbourne

Let Paramount know Ben Browder is perfect for Jack Reacher! Check out the terrafirmascaper thread here for some amazing ideas!

22 December ----

Many thanks to all who donated to our Lemonade Stand for Ben's birthday!! We raised about $1000!! Some donations were put into the general fund but they all go to support a great cause!!

I posted this at Terra Firma but here is Ben's reply to being told about the donation:

That's a wonderful birthday gift... couldn't have picked a better one.

Thank you so much.

Ben

4  September  ----

I am at Dragon Con for the first time ---- benbrowder.net/dialogue.mp4 is some raw video.

Also be sure and keep visiting the Freeze Frame 4 Vets site. Ixchup has done a great job for a cause that is sadly mostly unspoken.

Gateworld is reporting that the producers of Ben's new film are using youtube hits to help determine whether or not to try for a theatrical release. So we can all force ourselves to watch Ben daily right? ;)

I think we need to get Ben's name out there. As I have said before I think he would be great for the film adaptation of Lee Child's novels. Paramount has announced Josh Olson will be adapting the screenplay. I think sending postcards to them suggesting Ben as Reacher couldn't hurt ;) As there are several novels it could prove to be a good franchise for them. Mr. Child wouldn't have much say in who was cast but there is a forum at his website. The novels offer a Reacher who is a very gray character---interesting,sexy and action.
